Year 1 Phonics Parent Workshop - March '24
Thank you so much to our Year 1 parents. We hope you found this morning's phonics session useful. The children loved having you in to share their learning with you. Remember to keep practising at home with the resources handed out. 🔡 Safer Internet Day - February '24
Today marked Safer Internet Day, dedicated to celebrating the internet while reinforcing online safety measure. Throughout the day, the children eagerly engaged in discussions on online safety, learning how to navigate the digital realm responsibly and learning the importance of staying vigilant in today's interconnected world. 💻 Time To Talk - February '24
The children took part in the national 'Time to Talk' day, to share and understand that it's good to talk and share our worries, concerns and thoughts. We looked at what support we have in school, who our trusted adults are and who we can talk to. We also thought about what makes a good friend and how we can help others. 💕🗣 Children In Need - November '23 🌟 Our amazing children rocked the Bearpee Challenge this week to make a positive impact for children in need! 🐻💪 Your support means the world. So many activities took place this week in STEM week - using the book Planet in a Pickle Jar by Martin Stanev. The children designed and created papier mache planets, discussed pollution and conservation, thought of ways to save our planet, debated life on alternative planets, made rockets and so much more... A fantastic week of exploration, creation, investigation and mathematical equations. #loveoflearning #bigquestions #creativity 🌍 National Poetry Day - October '23
