Christmas at Measham - December
What an amazing build up to Christmas; from the creation of our own decorations, hoops in the hall, singing in the community Christmas celebration, singing at Age Concern, the amazing EYFS and KS1 Nativity, our Christmas Fayre, Christmas dinner, a visit from Santa Claus himself, Carols around the tree and of course the Pantomime of Beauty and the Beast - wow! An incredible time to be in school with lots of different experiences to create a lifetime of memories. STEM Week - Monday 24th October - Friday 28th October
Using 'Iggy Peck Architect' by Andrea Beaty as inspiration, the children spent a week looking at everything to do with architecture. This included building bridges, investigating building shapes, perspective drawings, scaling and technical drawing and much more. What a busy and creative week in school - phew! Measham Dance Festival - Friday 14th October
As part of our PE sessions - each class learnt a dance and then performed this to the rest of the school in our Dace Festival. Great support, enthusiasm and courage was shown by everyone in school. A fantastic showcase of talent and teamwork. Mental Health Awareness day - Monday 10th October
A #helloyellow day to raise awareness for mental health. The children took part in many activities throughout the day, thinking about how to help understand others, support each other and help themselves when times can be tough. MacMillan Coffee Morning - Friday 30th September
Wow - what a fantastic array of cakes, biscuits and plants that were available today. A huge thank you to everyone who donated cakes and supported our MacMillan Coffee Morning - we raised a great amount of money for a wonderful charity. European Languages Day - Monday 26th September
Welcome to Europe - the children travelled around different countries in Europe learning about their culture, climate, clothing and most importantly their food. What a fabulous day for everyone in school - take a look at the pictures to see the exciting activities completed in school. |
